MASALA PAPAD RECIPE|Home made hotel style punjabi papad

This is my all time favourite recipe ..this is generally ordered as a side dish in restaurants.

But this can be easily made at home also.



Ingredients
  •  Plain Papad  (urad papad/ jeera papad)( lijjat papad)
  •  tomato finely chopped 
  •  onion finely chopped 
  • Finely  chopped coriander leaves
  • Red chilli  powder
  •  Chat masala and salt to taste.
  • Oil to fry

      Method :
    1. Fry the Papad and allow excess oil to drain on a tissue paper. Alternatively you can even roast it on the stove directly.
    2. Just before serving, spread chopped tomato, onion and coriander leaves. Sprinkle salt and chat masala & red chilli powder.
    Tip
    • Serve Masala Papad immediately, else it will get soggy.
    • Use green chillies chopped finely insteed of red chilli powder
    • Substitute chat masala with black pepper (kali miri) powder
