An interesting side dish for the main course .Basically i am not a tindora lover ,but love these sun dried chips .
My mom had got these tondali chips when she had come to hyderabad .
These chips take me back to my childhood days when my grandmother used to make these in summer days (walvan) .
This recipe comes from my mom. this can be served as a tondi lavna with dal rice & pickle.

Ingredients :
10-15 tondali /tondli /ivygourd
1 tsp hing (asafoetida)
1 tsp haldi (turmeric)
2 tsp red chilli powder (lal tikhat)
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Keep tondli immersed in water & next dry them completely on a paper napkin.
2. Cut tondli into medium size chips .
3. Rub salt ,red chilli powder,turmeric ,hing to the chips uniformly.
4. Next keep these chips in sunlight & dry them in strong sun light for 4-5 days . let the chips dry from both sides .
5. Next store them in container & deep fry them in oil .
6. Drain on tissue paper & serve with dal rice & mango pickle .
