Upwas shengdana khobra chutney|Fasting coconut peanut chutney

Upwas chutney /Fasting coconut Peanut Chutney /Upwas khobra shengdana chutney:
Presenting Fasting coconut Peanut Chutney / upwas khobra shengdana chutney to be eaten along with any fasting dish like  sabudana wada / upwas thalipeeth / upwas kelyache (plaintain) cutlet / upwas  kelyacha wada / rajgeera puri ..





Ingredients :
Roasted peanuts (de-skinned) – 1 cup
Coconut (freshly grated/ola khobra) – 1 cup
Green chilies – 2-3
sugar /jaggery - 1 tsp
lime juice - 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon


Method:
1Finely grind the freshly grated coconut, roasted peanuts, green chilies, sugar /jaggery,cumin seeds,lime juice and salt.
2.Add water as per the required consistency but do not make it runny. It should form a fine paste.


Tip/ variation
1.Add 2 tsp whisked dahi(yoghurt) to the chutney prepared as per above process.
