This is a simple,refreshing and cooling raita which can be used as side dish for biryani/pulao/ Rice dishes.
It used two main ingredients ie onion & tomato along with dahi (yoghurt)
This dish is simplicity itself.sometimes simple things add a wonderful taste in your food
The taste tomatoes, the crunchy bite of red onions and the fragrant coriander leaves with spiced green chilli & freshly roasted cumin ,cool mint create a magical impact on final dish.
Ingredients:
1 Ripe Tomatoes
1 Onion
1 green Chili chopped
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tbsp mint (pudina)
1 tsp Cumin powder (optional)
1 cup Thick Yogurt
pinch sugar
Salt to taste
Method:
1 Blend yogurt for 2 mins.
2.Add chopped tomatoes and onion ,green chilli to yogurt mix.
3.Sprinkle sugar,cumin powder salt, and mix raita properly.
4 Garnish Raita with chopped coriander leaves & mint leaves. Onion Tomato Raita is ready to serve.
