Dahi ki chutney is a hyderabadi dish that is made with mint and onions.It is a popular side dish of Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani.
This is very simple and easy to make recipe. This recipe mainly goes with biryani and fried rice. This is also a must have dish in Andhra Wedding Food Menu.
You can actually call it as a type of raita though its called as dahi ki chutney in hyderabad.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Plain Curd
1 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
2 Green Chillies chopped
Coriander Leaves (Finely chopped)
Mint leaves (Finely chopped)
1 Small Onion (Finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Method
1. In a bowl, add dahi ,ginger garlic paste,sugar , whip it till smooth, and creamy.add water & whisk it for approx 2-3 minutes.
2.Add finely chopped Onions, chillies, coriander and mint leaves.
Serve it with hyderabadi biryanis
Tip
You can store Dahi Ki Chutney in the refrigerator in an air tight box for only one more day in a refrigarator, it doesnt last long.
