CHICKEN BURGER|HOMEMADE NON VEG-VEG BURGER|MAC ALOO TIKKI BURGER

Last sunday I was wondering what to make  for sunday dinner.Had prepared rajma in afternoon  but wanted to make some different snack in evening.So decided to make this snack.I prepared non-veg chicken burger as hubby wanted it .

An easy and quick burger recipe is what you might be looking for on a busy day. Maybe for your own self as a substitute of a full course Indian meal, or maybe for your little one's school lunch box .
I am sure everybody must have tasted the MC ALOO TIKKI BURGER( my favourite) ,MC MAHARAJA BURGER,CHICKEN BURGER WITH FRENCH FRIES & PEPSI AT
 MC DONALDS .The home made burger reminded me of the mc version .

Actually, once you have a basic burger recipe at hand, you can jolly well let your imaginations and creativity fly and think of umpteen types of patties for the burger.The process to make a veg and a non-veg burger is the same .I have mentioned  chicken pattice recipe at the end of the post .

For vegetarian burger replace the chicken pattice with vegetarian pattice rest process & ingredients remains same  .Will be posting the  detailed recipe of veg pattice  (made with mashed potato,ginger garlic chilli paste,breadcrumbs ,& you can use a combo of vegetables like capsicum,onion,green peas,corn to make patty more healthy & nutritious,cornflour,soya flakes, grated paneer & cheese ,pepper powder,chilli flakes ,salt) soon .






 Ingredients :
 5 big burger buns
 5  Venkys chicken  pattice (I had used venkys chicken pattice) { For a veg burger use veg   pattice )
 Lettuce leaves, a few
 Cheese slices, as required
 Mayonnaise, as required
 2 Onion and tomato, round thin slices
 2 Onion and tomato, round thin slices
 1 cucumber
 Tomato sauce as required
 Salt

 


Method:

1.Cut buns horizontally. Heat the buns in high MICRO for 20 seconds or on a tawa.
2.Shallow fry the  chicken pattice  till golden brown.










 
3.Apply tomato sauce on the inner layer of  burger buns.
4. Next apply Mayonnaise on the sauce layer.
5.Place lettuce leaf on the mayonnaise of the bun. Then place a pattice .  Place thinly sliced cucumber, onions and tomatoes.
6. Cover with the top part of the bun and serve.




 







 
For making chicken pattice at home below is recipe.

Ingredients Chicken Patties / pattice
Makes 4 to 6

 Boneless chicken 250 gm
 Bread crumbs 2 tbsp.
 Onion 1 no., finely chopped
 Green chilli paste 1 tsp.
 Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp.
 Cheese cubes 2 nos., grated
 Egg 1/2, beaten
 Cornflour 2 tbsp.
 Some more bread crumbs to coat the pattice
 Oil to fry patties

Method:
1.Marinate chicken with 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. pepper powder for 30 minute.Strain chicken Discard water and make a paste of the chicken by grinding in mixer.
2.Thoroughly mix all the ingredients for patties. You can adjust the quantity of cornflour if required.
3. Shape into large and thick patties/cutlets.
4. Next, nicely coat both sides with bread crumbs. 
5.Shallow fry the patties on a non-stick pan.
6.Chicken pattice is ready to be used as a stuffing for burgers
