Strawberry Margarita- Non alcoholic version -summer cooler drink


What could be more refreshing on a summer's day than a cool strawberry margarita? This is a refreshing summer drink made with either fresh or frozen strawberries. Also makes a delicious after-dinner drink. The non alcoholic version of strawberry margarita.There  is no better taste than crushed fresh strawberry served in a frozen format.
It may not be strawberry season for , but I’ve been seeing some gorgeous strawberries in my grocery store.I’ve totally become addicted to various fruit margaritas. They were out of this world good. I loved the sugar and salt combo on the rim, and the strawberry flavor is just overwhelming. It actually tastes like fresh strawberries. Imagine that!


Pls note :This popular drink  is actally made from the  Tequila is served in chilled, salt rimmed stemmed glasses. 



Today we are replicating indian  non alcoholic version of strawberry margarita


 Servings 4

Ingredients
1 1/3 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup crushed fresh strawberries
8 tsp sugar
crushed ice
5 lime wedges


Method
1.Rim the ridge of your glasses with a lime wedge and dip in a mix of salt + sugar [I used about 3 tablespoons salt to 2 teaspoons sugar].
2. Mix all the ingredients and add 3 teacups of cold water.
3.Serve with crushed ice. Pour into stemmed Margarita Glasses rimmed with either coarse salt,  or coarse sugar.(I tried using mixture of both).
4.Garnish with reserved limes
