Bread poori recipe

Bread poori  ….a tasty healthy poori made using bread .i have used brown bread but you can use white bread too .Also leftover bread works great for this recipe.








This is a different poori recipe which can be enjoyed as a breakfast or lunch dinner with aloo sabji


I learnt this from Mrs vah re vah chef video.i paired it with gujarati rasawala aloo tamatar sabji


Ingredients

Bread - 4 slices
Maida/wheat flour - 1 cup
Semolina/rava- 1 tbsp
Dahi/curd- 3 tbsp
Sugar -pinch
Salt - to taste
Oil - to fry

Method:


1. tear  bread into pieces  and transfer it into a blender and blend it into a powder.

 2. Add all purpose flour, little salt, semolina mix it and add yogurt, water and make a tight poori dough and keep it aside for 10 mins.

3. Take the dough and divide it into equal portions.

 4. Roll the poori using rolling pin.

5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the puri’s till they puff and are golden brown from both sides. transfer it into a paper towel.


6. Now the puffed puri’s are ready to serve hot with any curry.
