Another quick tasty evening snack a variation from normal kanda bhajia .Fried items are both me & my husbands favorite.Simple recipe,feels fulfilling with cup of Tea /Coffee..A good way to make your kids eat cabbbage.
Ingredients:
Cabbage-1 and half cup shredded
Besan flour-6 tablespoon
Rice Flour-2 tablespoon
Red chilly powder-To taste
Coriander Powder-1 teaspoon
Jeera Powder-1 teaspoon
Ajwain/Caram seeds/owa -1 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 5-6
sugar -pinch
Chat masala Powder/lemon juice-1 teaspoon
Salt-To taste
Oil- For deep frying
Method:
1.Mix Cabbage with all dry powders,sugar ,salt except besan and rice flour in a wider bowl.
2.Mix well with hand. Mixture will ooze some water.
3.Add rice flour and besan flour in to the mixture.
4.Add 1 tablespoon of hot oil in it.Mix well.
5.Sprinkle some water and make a lose dough. Don’t add too much water.
6.Heat oil in kadai,and with help of spoon drop pakoda in hot oil .Fry till golden brown .
7.Drain on tissue paper and serve hot with Chutney/Sauce.
