I am a pakoda /bajji /bhajji fan. I had recently planted an owa plant which grew beautifully in my kitchen garden hence decided to prepare owa/ajwain patte ka pakoda with ajwain /owa leaves.
Owa is known as ajwain in hindi & carom seeds in english.
This is how the owa plant looks
Earlier i have posted spinach onion fritters.Serve and eat this pakoda when its piping hot .also ensure that the battershould be thick enough to coat the leaves if it becomes watery it will not stick to the leaves.
Ingredients:

1 Cup Gram Flour
2 tbsp Rice Flour
1tsp Chili Powder
½ tsp haldi /turmeric
A pinch of Cooking Soda (optional)

Oil for Deep Frying
Salt to taste
Method:
1.Wash and wipe the whole owa leaves.
2.Mix Gram Flour, Rice Flour, Chili Powder, haldi and Salt with water to a thin batter.
3. Dip the leaves in the batter and deep fry in oil till it turns golden brown from both sides and crisp.
