SAFFOLA OATS LADOO RECIPE



I found this recipe in saffola oats  recipe book volume 4 .Very healthy & nutritious recipe.





Ingredients
Saffola oats  - 100 gm
Shengdana /peanuts/moongphali/groundnuts- 200 gm
khajur /khajoor / seedless dates - 200 gm
Roasted poppy seeds - 100 gm
1 tsp - ghee



Method :
1. Roast the saffola oats in the ghee .
2.Crush the peanuts & cut the dates into small pieces .
3. Mix all the ingredients together & roll them into small balls .

1) It is advised that a daily intake of at least 3 grams of soluble fiber will certainly reduce risk of heart diseases and the combination of soluble and insoluble fibers, will certainly lower the amount of bad cholesterol in our body.

2) Oatmeal can work towards keeping sugar levels at a stable level as it has a low glycemic index. The American Diabetes Association has suggested that a daily fiber intake of 20-35 grams is vital for the body and a cup of cooked oatmeal contains at least 4 grams of fiber. Also, the high level of fiber content in oatmeal is anti-carcinogenic and is definitely effective for colon cancer. Also, bulky stools can result from whole oats and this will thereby dilute carcinogens.

3) Oatmeal plays a great role in fighting obesity which is possible due to the presence of soluble fiber that slows down the digestion process which keeps the stomach full and this results in losing weight. All of us should incorporate oats in our everyday meal plan and consumption of at least a small bowl of oat meal porridge is greatly beneficial for the body. You can also use rolled oats and normal oats in the form of cookies or as granola or muesli bars in your dietary plan. Oats is known to be full of fiber and it also adds zinc to your personal diet which will certainly bring about positive changes in your life.
