Banana milk Shake recipe |Dates Honey Banana Shake | Pregnancy Recipe


Who doesn't like Milk Shakes ??? This energy filled shake is a great way to start your day. So this simple and easy smoothie is for you all to quench the thirst and keep you fresh and energetic in the upcoming hot Summer, Try this out and enjoy!!!!!

This shake is a great way to start your day, especially during your first trimester when you may have lost your appetite as a result of morning sickness. The natural sweetness of the dates and bananas is enriched by the addition of milk and it provides for all the required calcium, protein and iron to supplement your diet. If you are hungry or simply not in a mood to cook, you can be assured you will get all your nutrients, if you have just one serving of this revitalizer.




Ingredients:

4-5 dates (khajur), deseeded
1 tbsp honey /sugar
1 banana
2 cup milk
4 to 6 ice-cubes



Method:

1.Soak the dates in water / milk /coconut water  for 10 to 15 minutes or till they soften and the milk is cold. 





2.Blend the soaked dates well in the blender/mixer. Chop and add the banana to the dates and blend well again.  Add the remaining milk and ice cube and blend well again.

3.Serve immediately. 


Variation:

You can use Ice Cream instead of milk as well.
