CORN FLAKES CHAT RECIPE



This is an easy and tasty snack which can be made in jiffy especially if the chutneys are ready made in your fridge. Cornflakes  is usually consumed with milk as a breakfast. This chat is yummy and a good substitute for Bhel Poori/ Shev poori.



Ingredients

Kellogs Corn flakes - 1 cup
Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Onion - 1 chopped finely
Tomato - 1 chopped finely
sprouted moong /mod alele moong- 1/2 cup
Boiled potatoes -  1/4 cup
Green chilli - 2 chopped finely
1/2 cup green mint chutney
1/2 cup tamarind date chutney
1/2 cup yellow shev (sev)
1/2  cup dahi/yoghurt

Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
Mint Leaves - 2 tsp optional

 

 Method

1 .Mix everything together except corn flakes.



2.Add the corn flakes at the end and just mix once again.top with shev .


3.Garnish with coriander and mint leaves and serve.

4. Serve immediately or else cornflakes will turn mushy .

Tips
1. you can use Maggi Hot and Sweet Chilli Sauce  if you dont have tamarind chutney & green chutney prepared .
2. you can add 2 tsp of yoghurt or lemon juice.
3.Add sprouted boiled chickpeas / chole instead of moong.
4.Add grated carrot /choped capsicum.

 •Corn oil is a rich source of linoleic acid, one of two essential acids necessary for good skin. Corn starch may also be applied topically to soothe skin rashes and irritations.
