Mango raita |Easy shahi ripe mango (aam -amba) raita recipe



Summer being mango season  yet another mango recipe  namely mango raita.this can be served as a dessert too

raita is yogurt dish  prepared with different combinations of fruits, vegetables and few spices.






Yesterday I prepared mango raita which is very refreshing and healthy in a hot evening.
Mango raita is quick and easy to make and it tastes wonderful and sweet.



Ingredients:
1 ripe mango ( i used banganahalli)
fresh curd (plain yogurt) -2 cups
sugar -1 tbsp
crushed cashew/almond/ pista - 1 table spoon
cardamom powder- 2-3 pinch
saffron pinch

Method

    1.peel and cut Mango in small pieces.


    2.Mix sugar with curd ,beat till smooth.


    3.Add crushed nuts and cardamom powder ,saffron in this curd .



 

    4.Add mango pieces in this mix.

    5. Garnish with mango pieces & saffron


    6. Mix well and chill 1/2 an hour before serving.

 


Serve chilled with pulao  ,biryani or tomato rice.

  1. Dont make Amba raita in curd. It makes in coconut juce. First take 4 half ripe mango, 1 coconut, 3 red chilli, salt, turmeric. All things grind on mixer except mago. Then take 1 pot on gas. Put oil and make fodani with mohari. Then put mixture on it and then put mango (without cover sal kadhun amba amtit takane) boil it and then taste.
