Mint juice recipe| Pudina sherbat



Another  simple, healthy and refreshing drink for the summers… mint juice or pudinya cha sarbat

Mint Juice is one of the simple and refreshing juicer recipes. It is also used as a medicine, when Pudina is added with lemon, it helps in improving your digestion power. Green Smoothies are known for removing toxins and purify our blood

This Mint Sherbet is sugar free, low cal, healthy and refreshing as i have jaggery instead of sugar.
 You can store this Mint Sherbet in the fridge and drink when you feel like.

Mint is one of the oldest and most popular herbs that is grown around the world. There are many different varieties of mint, each having its own subtle flavour and aroma. This herb is used in a range of dishes from stuffing to fruit salads.










Its health benefits include:

 
- Soothing the digestive tract and if you are having stomach ache then it can be of great help
- Drinking herbal mint tea reduces irritated bowel syndromes, cleanses the stomach and also clear up skin disorders such as acne.
- Mint acts as a cooling sensation to the skin and helps in dealing with skin irritations.
- Mint helps in eliminating toxins from the body.
- Crushed mint leaves helps in whitening teeth and combat bad breath.
- Mint is a very good cleanser for the blood.
- mint is a good source of vitamin C, B complex vitamins and minerals like calcium, phosphorous, zinc and copper.

Ingredients:

    1 bunch of mint (pudina) leaves |1 & 1/2 cups leaves of    mint
     half lime juice
    8 to 10 tbsp grated jaggery Or sugar
    1 tbsp cumin seed powder (jeera)
    1/2 cup water
    1 tbsp chat masala /rock salt
    a pinch of salt

Method:

1.Remove the mint leaves from the stems..Wash them nicely keep aside.

2.Combine all ingredients into a mixer  jar. Grind into processor until all blends well.

3.Take a mesh strainer strain the mixture. Discard the leftover pulp.adjust seasonings.

4.Now serve into glasses with some ice-cubes. Garnish with slices of lime.



Tip:
  1.     It’s important to use lime juice as it retains the mint leaves green color.
  2.     adjust the sweetness  as per your taste
