Eggless Chocolate sponge Mug Cake - Pressure Cooker chocolate cake recipe | No butter recipe


Don't have an oven or microwave at home ????????????  Does this stop you from baking cake at home for you dear ones .The answer is NO    ............

Now you don't have to wait anymore as you can make moist, soft, fluffy, spongy cake at home that too with out oven. You  can bake up cake just like oven in a Pressure Cooker!

I tried this  for those people dont own a microwave or oven & still wanted to make cake  at home .My husbands verdict was it tasted just like molten lava cake

 Moreover  it is vegetarian since it doesnt use eggs .The taste is no lesser than a brownie and can be served as such or with ice cream.


Important note: Remove the whistle and regulator (black ring)  WHILE USING PRESSURE COOKER.




WANT A BITE



 Ingredients

    Maida / All purpose flour - 3 tbsp
    Coco powder - 1.5 tbsp (unsweetened)
    Sugar - 3tbsp (I used powdered sugar)
    Baking Soda - 1/8 tsp
    Salt - 1/8 tsp
    Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
    Milk - 3 tbsp
    Vanilla Essence - 1/4 tsp
 
Method:

1.Grease the mug with a little butter or oil.



  

2. Preheat a pressure cooker as follows. Place a pressure cooker on flame and place a separator and close the cooker with its lid. Remove the whistle and regulator (black ring) .you can either close the cooker with the lid as you normally do or place the lid upside down too . Then place the cooker  on high flame for 8 to 10minutes.  

 

3.In a bowl mix together all purpose flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda and salt.Add oil, milk and vanilla and mix well with a spoon. Make sure there are no lumps underneath..Mix well and make sure there are no lumps.The batter should be creamy and in flowing consistency. pour mixture in greased mug.







   













4.Now open the pre-heated cooker and place the mug inside the cooker, on the separator and close the cooker with its lid. (do not place the whistle or regulator).






 









5.Cook on low flame for 20 minutes or until the cake rises out of the mug as shown in the pic. The cake will rise well first and then slowly puff down.Remove from flame ,cool and serve!!
   



6.For gooey kind cake  Cook on low flame for 12-15 minutes.I did for 14 minutes and my cake was just like molten lava choco cake .





7.Enjoy this delicious brownie style cake plain,with ice cream or with chocolate sauce.mine got over in just 5 Minutes


 

Tips :

1.You can  loosen the cake by running a knife around and tapping the cake out. Slice into pieces and serve. 


2 above quantity is for just one mug .Use double the quantity of  above ingredients if you want for   2 people.


3. Remove the whistle and regulator (black ring)  WHILE USING PRESSURE COOKER.


4.Preferably use an old cooker for this cake.
