Carrot tube rose flowers |vegetable carving| gajarachi gulchadi fula



These flowers are usually seen in chinese dishes.

It enhances the look of stir fried dishes .


 place a sprig of parsley or coriander near these carrot tube rose flowers to enhace their beauty .

Place these flowers on the side of a large platter of salad. 

I have inserted a black peper in centre & stuck flowers on mini forks which serve as a stem for these flowers 













Ingredients :

1 big red carrot
knife






Method:
 
1.Take a slender carrot or radish .peel & wash it .


2 make a sharp angled cut at about a height of 1 1/2 inch,about downwards and inwards.make two  similar cuts from the remaining sides-all the cuts should meet at the end. hold the top of carrot with one hand and the base with other.

3..twist the lower portion to break off the top portion.you will have a carrot tuberose in one hand and remaining part of acrrot in other.

4..trim the leftover carrot to get a pointed end.make more flowers from the leftover carrot & place them in ice cold water for 3-4 days.



 

Tips :
You can make same flowers from radish also
