GREEN CHUTNEY SANDWICH |EASY GREEN MINT CHUTNI CUCUMBER SANDWICH

I am posting this quick & easy recipe to make sandwich especially for beginers & learners.






I had made this yesterday for evening breakfast & believe me its so tempting that one cannot just stop eating.



 These can be used for lunch & are ideal for picnics.


Ingredients:

Bread slices - 8
Mint leaves - 1 cup, chopped fine
Coriander leaves - 1 cup, chopped fine
Juice of half lemon
Fresh green chillies - 2, thinly sliced
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp yoghurt (dahi) (optional)
1 cucumber(kakdi)
1 tsp chatmasala
1 tsp pepper powder
1/2 cup butter
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Combine mint ,cumin powder coriander leaves with green chillies.
2. Place them in a blender with a little water and process them to make a fine paste.
3. Add salt and sugar and blend them once more.
4. Squeeze in the limejuice & dahi. Your chutney is ready
5.Apply butter on bread slices.
6 Apply the chutney paste on the bread slices .
7 Peel cucumber & cut it into slices.
8 Next place cucumber slices on one chutneyed bread slice .sprinkle pepper powder,chatmasala.
9. Next place a breadslice on top of cucumber piece with the chutneyed portion facing downwards.
10 Press sandwich with palms
11. Cut the bread corners with knife.
12. Cut through each sandwich diagonally & shape into triangles.

TIPS
Use brown bread for healthy version
Prepare chutney & refrigerate & use when required
Replace cucumber with tomato,potato or any veggies of your choice
