Achari paratha |Stuffed pickle paratha |loncha paratha

A very tasty paratha that is quick to make and very filling. You can use mango pickle ,lemon pickle or mixed vegetable pickle to give the best taste.

Achar means pickle and paratha is an indian flatbread .this paratha is flavorful, colorful, delightful, spicy & yummy kids will love it.

Now this can be made stuffed or plain. For stuffed achari paratha  after rolling paratha achar masala can be spread on it & then roll  it now into a cylinder shaped structure. now twist this cylinder in a spiral shape & roll the spiral like a normal paratha

Second method is to add achar masala  or pickle in wheat flour at the time of kneading dough & then make paratha in normal way .i have tried the second one lets go to the recipe
serve this paratha with raita or plain curd ,no achar to be served with this paratha as it already contains achar in it

3 tbsp pickle masala (any type of pickle)  {use loncha cha khar from your existing pickle bottle)
1-2 tbsp ajwain/cumin seeds
2 pinches kasoori methi /coriander leaves
1/2 tsp Salt
Ghee/Oil for frying
Water as required

Method
1.Make a dough by adding pickle masala, with above remaining ingredients and  sufficient water.

2.Knead the dough properly and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

3. now make equal lemon size balls from dough.

4.Take a ball and  flatten it on the floured board roll it to about 6-7 inches paratha .

5. Put the paratha on a preheated tava.

6.Flip paratha after cooking for 1-2 minute. After a minute apply ghee/oil around the edges and turn again. Fry till the brown spots appears on both sides.
