Spring onion pakora |paticha kandyachi bhajji|hara pyaj pakore




Me and hubby both  love pakoras, bajji or bhajiya so these are made weekly in my house & keep on attempting various pakoras so you will find a variety of them in my house

 Hara Pyaaz ke Pakode or Spring onion fritters or paticha kandyachi bhajji  are crunchy outside and soft inside.

Very delicious,quick & easy to make recipe and perfect during rainy & winter season.








THINGS TO BE NOTED

1.Batter should not be thin. add water spoon by spoon only if required.

2.Fry on medium heat so that pakoras will get cooked evenly.

3.Mix spices with chopped spring onions & leave for some time so that it will release juices ,Then add besan & rice flour ,lemonjuice or dahi & if required add little water spoon by spoon to make a thick batter .


Ingredients :

Spring onion medium size - 5 to 6
Green chilli - 1
Garlic ginger paste - 1 tbsp
coriander cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Besan - 1/2 cup
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Red chill powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - pinch
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Rava (semolina) - 1 tbsp
Dahi ( yoghurt) or lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Sugar - pinch
salt to taste
Water - 3-4 tablespoon
Oil - to fry


Method:

1 wash spring onion ,chop greens & white part of spring onions.

2.now add ginger garlic paste,green chilli,yogurt/lemon juice,rava & all masalas,salt,sugar & keep it aside for 10-15 minutes so that it will release water.





3.Now add besan part by part & rice flour & stir well.


4.now add water spoon by spoon only if required.batter should not be runny.



5.heat oil in kadhai & drop spoonful of batter with hand or spoon & fry on medium heat till golden brown  & crisp.


5 keep on stirring in between so that pakoras are equally browned.
6.do not over crowd kadhai .drain pakoras on tissue & serve along with mint chutney or tomato sauce or as a side dish with main course .
